'Rona Got You Road Tripping

Just because international travel is on hiatus, that doesn't mean you have to be! According to a recent survey conducted by the U.S. Travel Association, 68% of travelers feel safest when traveling by personal vehicle during this era of coronavirus. Avoiding public transportation, crowded waiting areas, and strangers is considered a safer way to travel during these uncertain times.

So, that means there could possibly be a road trip in your near future! Road tripping is a fun and adventurous way to not just get from Point A to Point B, but to see hidden gems of the country you’ll never get to see when you fly. Although it can have its challenges and inconveniences too, taking a road trip is an experience you won’t forget. There’s nothing quite like a well-planned trip, because a vacation helps clear your head, get you out of any rut you’re in, and brings some excitement to your life!

If driving your own vehicle is not an option and you want more room and hotel-like amenities, you can now road trip in luxury like the celebs! Consider renting one of those million-dollar luxury motor homes used by touring celebrities that have been sitting idle during the pandemic. Contact @hemphillbrothers to reserve your "mobile mansion" today.

To help you get out there and ready for that adventure, I put together a list of packing essentials to help make the trip more enjoyable. Below is my list of 17 (my fave number) important things to pack for your road trip.

1. Stocked cooler

2. Sanitizing wipes/alcohol

3. Portable chargers

4. Reusable water bottle

5. Umbrella

6. Batteries

7. Neck or waist wallet

8. Air mattress or sleeping bag

9. Travel laundry detergent

10. First aid kit (include thermometer)

11. Emergency car kit (cables, flashlight, basic tools)

12. Travel neck pillow

13. Backpack

14. Blanket

15. Folding chairs

16. Sunglasses

17. Masks and gloves

Remember, go with the flow and enjoy the journey while bonding with your fellow passengers!
